Accurate data points and supporting document disclosure
Every property listing submitted on PROPERTYIN must provide accurate, self-declared data points. Sellers represent that all information provided is genuine:
The seller should provide an authentic government survey or sub-division number verifiable on state land portals (e.g., Dharani in Telangana, Kaveri in Karnataka, Bhulekh in UP/Maharashtra, Meebhoomi in AP, or Banglarbhumi in WB).
Sellers can upload supporting copies of registered sale deeds, Pattadar Passbook / 7/12 extract / Khata certificate, or Encumbrance Certificate (EC). Uploaded revenue documents are stored in private encrypted storage and are never made publicly downloadable.
Pin drops must accurately match the physical land parcel. Sellers can enable the 50–100m Privacy Radius Blur if they wish to keep exact boundaries confidential until direct buyer inquiry.

How our community and moderation team maintain safety
Every property details page features a "Report Listing" button. When a listing is flagged with evidence of duplicate posting, misleading price, incorrect survey number, or ownership dispute, our trust & safety administrators review the claim. Validated reports result in immediate listing deactivation and audit recording.
PROPERTYIN facilitates property discovery, listing management, confidential document review and direct communication between sellers and prospective buyers. A PROPERTYIN verification status does not constitute a guarantee of title, ownership, legality, valuation or suitability. Buyers should conduct independent legal, title, registration and physical due diligence before entering into any transaction.
